Private data must be erased, not just deleted

Do you know what happens to a file on your personal computer after you delete it? Not one thing. The raw information in that file remains exactly as it was. All you did was remove the label on that file and change it to say empty. Anyone with a data recovery tool can find and restore that file in minutes. In fact REMO has created dozens of programs just for that purpose. Those are great when you have accidentally deleted a file but what about when you have sensitive financial or medical records that you want removed from your hard disk so thoroughly that can never be read again? For this purpose REMO has created a sophisticated disk wipe program. Called a file eraser or file shredder this powerful program using random and multiple tear down of the digital data in a file so that it can never be reassembled.

In the event that you have taken over a previously used computer the REMO Program can actually disk wipe over entire file allocation tables of what appear to be empty files areas, just to be certain no data is there that you have not placed. The REMO file shredder exceeds standards set for destruction of sensitive material by the United States government.
